Another apologist for Stanhope surfaces

When I try going to the City News all I get is a MOTD about how CityNews is being updated and revilatised full of marketing spin.

Has The-RiotACT kickstarted a Canberra-based arms race for web coverage?

For Stanhope this motion was personal. Lives and much property had been lost, he said, and it was about time the opposition stopped playing with “the grief and misfortune of an entire community”. While those with the luxury of hindsight now claim he could have done better, there’s no hindsight when you are actually doing the “doing”.

This was the man that said “Blame me”, no doubt with 20/20 hindsight as it came some time after the event. Do all past actions become null and void after accepting the grand poobah job?

There were plenty of comments on that in the original RiotACT item linked to.

In the interest of playing the ball not the man, I note no comments so far as to the actual substance of his article/the speech…

And surely an artist and communicator of Jorian’s ilk should get the order right – the ‘crack!’ would emenate from the ball hitting the bat ‘after’ the delivery – so the expletive should come at the ned, not the start, of each of the ‘sixes’??
