The Belconnen Community Council June Public Meeting will be held at 7.30PM on Tuesday 18 June at the Community Room, above the Belconnen Library.
This months BCC meeting will, after a short discussion of BCC activities, host a presentation about supported housing in Latham.
The Community Services Directorate in the ACT Government is proposing to develop some land in Latham for a new supportive housing model – for people with a disability. Staff from Housing and Community Services will take the opportunity to brief the Council on what is proposed for the last site at the former Latham shopping centre, now known as the Latham Local Centre.
Following the presentation, those attending will be able to ask questions and seek further information.
