When I heard that the legendary american metal worker Johnny Payphone was making the fire bins for the Corinbank Festival I was thinking it would be artistic bits cut out of conventional bins.
So when I saw this beast (one of many) being test fired on Tuesday night I was gobsmacked by just how cool it is. (If you’re interested in having one of these for your backyard BBQ’s make Johnny an offer during the festival)
Today’s the big day, Corinbank 09 is here and I’m stoked to be heading up the mountain this afternoon. The organisers have very kindly agreed to provide some of their remote bandwidth and we’ll be filing reports each morning of the events from the night before.
If you’ve never gone camping at a festival before, the excitement is really right up there with heading off on an overseas trip.
Remember you need to buy your ticket before you head up the mountain.
Other top tips are in the 2009 Survival Guide and the Festival Program.
Hope to see you there!
