Actew are warning that Inner Northicans might be getting some funny looking water on Wednesday and Thursday.

Tomorrow (Wednesday 23 February) and on Thursday (24 February), ActewAGL customers in Ainslie, Braddon and Reid may experience discolouration of the water supply due essential maintenance to the water network.

It is difficult to predict which properties the discoloured water may reach, however it is expected that the discolouration should only last for two days and is expected to clear with normal water use by Friday (25 February 2011).

If the discolouration is still apparent on Friday morning, please call ActewAGL’s faults and emergencies line on 13 11 93.

So… can I drink it? Bathe in it? Do the laundry in it? No guidance from ActewAGL, sadly.

What do you think?

Do they need to tell you when to go to the toilet?
