AAP, via Yahoo are reporting that the Brumbies have beaten the Queensland Reds 42-17 to win the Australian Provincial Championship!

Stephen Hoiles and Julian Huxley are proving their recruit value.

not telling anyone where and when the games are on is a bloody subtle marketing technique.

screwup and embarrassment more likely methinks

JB, I wondered if it wasn’t a marketing thing to get more, shall we say – grass roots people involved, that might translate to Brumbies Super 14 memberships given that the renewals dropped a tad with the demise of Super 12 and the increased season ticket cost.

I wonder if the teams were slightly embarrassed that the new comp cut out their season ticket holders.

I really don’t understand why the PR on the APC has been so crap. I would have thought that there would have been huge interest in a national rugby union competition.

No television. Not even a mention in the news. It was impossible to find any live game updates last night, and the papers and radio seem to have all but ignored the whole competition.

Shits me!
