Given the recent rises in petrol I’ve been catching the bus to/from work on days when I don’t need my car.
Anyways, whilst waiting at Belconnen bus interchange for my bus home, I’ve often noticed a white coach pulling into the Interchange but not stopping at any of the bays – it sometimes pulls to the right of the bus lane. I don’t think it takes on any passengers at Belconnen. It has “Goulburn” on its destination tag.
Does such a bus service exist? Obviously Murrays and Greyhound would do such services on their routes to Sydney, but this bus doesn’t have any tags on it for either of these companies…it is a plain white bus.
Do people catch it? Are there many people out there who would work in Canberra but live so far away as Goulburn? I mean obviously commuter towns in nearby NSW would be Yass, Queanbeyan, Bungendore, Sutton, not to mention Royalla and Williamsdale and I have heard of someone commuting from Gunning each day for work, but Goulburn????
