Now that cherry season is here can anyone let me know if there are people selling them on the roadside?

Isabella Dr between gowrie and chisholm eastbound on the weekends.

Belconnen Way between Fairfax St and Caswell/Gunghalin Drive, as of a day or two ago; and if you’re down that way, the old caravan at Williamsdale, which has been there at this time of the year forever. No-bake cheesecake with fresh cherry spread?

Cherry pies? Yum. Now I’m even more determined to head off looking for cherry people!
I wonder if they are there on the weekend?
Thanks for the pips – oops, tips. ;-D

There’s someone selling them just up the Monaro just south of the Calwell turnoff – on the way to Cooma, but not very far along from memory.

My son’s school sells 5kg boxes fresh off the tree from Young for $35 every year. I’ve managed to give away a few kilos already, but still have about three to go. Busy weekend ahead making pies and anything else I can think of – suggestions welcome!

There is a cherry seller on the Barton Hwy westbound, just before Gold Creek.

I’ve seen a guy selling cherries on the side of Flemington Rd (northbound) just as you head out of Mitchell towards Gungahlin.

Not sure if it’s the same guy but I sometimes see cherry sellers on the Federal Highway near the roundabout where servo and Formule One hotel is.
