Commotion in our suburbs this afternoon….

By yoowhoo 14 May 2009 27

Anyone know what happened in Kambah and Higgins today [yesterday]?

I heard there was a hostage situation in Kambah and late this arvo Findlay St in Higgins was blocked off by police?

Rumour has it a man with a gun was on the loose in the street??

perhaps they are the little buggers that come over to kambah and do burnouts – after all, the streets are too narrow in gungahlin, aren’t they??

lol – agreed!!! Straight up the GDE, along the parkway and they end up in kambah… It’s a lovely run for them… 😉

I will stay in kambah till the house is sold. after that, who knows?

want to get somewhere with a 12 min drive to work. kambah rules ok.

Live and work in Gungahlin

5 min walk

“give it 10 – 15 years and all the teenagers will be in gungahlin and the new area in macquarie, which the crime rates rise!!! mwahahahaha northside will have their fun too…!!!”

Palmerston, the start of Gungahlin, has been around since ’93. Hasn’t happened yet. Sort of ruins your theory as the ‘teenagers’ have been here for quite a while

What about Kambah Pride 2902!! The 29 stands for thinking with your heart, 02 stands for thinking with your head. That cam about after school children were attacked in Kambah in 2004. The principle of Kambah High at the time came up with that. Also only Kambah residents can pick on Kambah. So I can say that this only happened as the incident occurred in Kambah West. That sort of stuff never happens in Kambah East. Crime only happens in Kambah East, when the other side wonder over.

But back on topic, I went past in a bus at 07:30 & Mackillop Circuit (the cul-de-sac in question runs off Mackillop Circuit) was clear.
