Construction noise at 5:35am.... are you kidding me?

Typical tradie. I have to start when I want, finish when I want and park where I want.

You’ll understand if I return your comment about the box of tissues. We all have constraints to work under.

start and finish early…okay in summer…dangerous to start in the dark of winter

transport to and fro…plan ahead so you only need to go to (the fro is not necessary until the end of day)

delay for 2 weeks…talk to the project manager you baby.

give me a break – transporting stuff to and fro is one thing; have they heard about ‘unloading’ and then moving their vehicle to a legal parking site? and yes, i have worked where i transport heavy delicate and expensive equipment but have nonetheless managed to park legally and not obstructing others’ pedestrian access.

and if noise is part of everyday life then you’d not mind the neighbours drilling against your adjoining wall at three in the morning; it’s just a bit of noise and we all manage fine with sleep deprivation and society doesn’t suffer at all ’cause we’re all getting rich and can eat plastic money which will make us strong healthy wise and deaf enough to cope with a little kerfuffle now and again… sheesh!

I would feel like I was being spun a damned lie. Having to comply with construction noise regulations doesn’t cause projects to fall behind schedule.

That’s a funny tale, but again, having to comply with construction noise regulations doesn’t cause people to lose their livelihoods.

Certainly a one-off occurrence is an annoyance. There’s no indication that it has done, but what if it continues, more tissues?

We had similar issues in Harrison when the school was being built and the TaMS noise pollution guy was quite good about shutting down the early starts.

Move to Kambah-or drink more the night before,jeezzz some people can find anything to complain about.
