CWB Announces Canberra’s Business Woman of the Year

The ACT Chamber of Women in Business presented an award to ‘Business Woman of the Year’ Claire Connelly at the 4th Annual Dinner and Awards Night on Tuesday 17th August.

CWB President Laurie McDonald says “It was a great night and a privilege to acknowledge women who have made outstanding contributions to the local economy and business community.”

The main award ‘Businesswoman of the Year’ is for the business woman who demonstrated leadership, tenacity, compassion, encouragement, pursuit of excellence and is a role model for other business women.

Claire started Papercut in 2007 and since then has increased her clients, profit and team – all by an astounding 200%. Claire’s business philosophy is to focus on the triple bottom line that for her includes not only profit, but also an emphasis on environmental and social outcomes.

Claire is an inspiring businesswoman with an impressive commitment to the local community and the environment.
