Here at RiotACT we didn’t think Wikileaks expose of US diplomatic cables had anything worth Bradley Manning’s life or much information beyond what could be had through a subscription to The Economist.

So we’re a little surprised to see Cyber War News reporting that CraftACT has had their archives looted and their emails dumped out.

Makes sense. Looking at their Pastebin, they concentrated on finding accounts with a *.gov.au email address, and took the hashed passwords. Someone will probably run a hash comparison against them, and harvest. Given a further opportunity, however unlikely, they’ll use those accounts to see if they are the same internally and externally.

Attacking community sites is low risk, moderate gain in this instance.

The kiddies love the easy targets.

I’m not sure why but the term “Kicking kittens” comes to mind.

Awsome. I expect many of the emails deal with the use of drones to launch missile attacks on their crafty enemies?
