It’s not just Erindale, have you seen civic or woden or belco or along the parkway or the monaro hwy or pretty much anywhere in the ACT lately, it’s disgusting.

Wrong. Erindale is so much worse. In fact it’s an absolute $hithole. Don’t blame Maccas, blame the hoodie-wearing grubs who inhabit the area,

Nope – Everything from the road verge is privately leased land at that site – it is the property owners responsibility to clean up any rubbish in the car park (along with the twats who shouldn’t drop it in the first place). If you report it to fix my street all they (should) do is remind the owner of their responsibilities under the lease.

I recall the old days where Macas used to get their staf to clean the carparks around their stores…Dont think it happens nearly as much now.

Macdonalds must be one of the worst road side polluters. Anyone who drives past Gold Creek Village must notice the difference between BM (Before Macdonalds) and AM (After Macdonalds). ACT Govt must be furious having to do all those extra wrapper and container cleanups along the roads around Maccers.

I reckon if you put a $20 deposit on the wrappings from McDonald’s the problem would disappear overnight.

Register Canberra as a clean up site on Clean Up After the Grots.. I mean Clean Up Australia Day.

I have been told that the strip where the restaurants and takeaways are is what is going to be transferred to Crawford Street in Queanbeyan. That is why all the work is being done there.

as for all the rubbish it is going with the buildings.
