DIY Wotz-On Guide weekend of 20-22 Nov

The Harrison School Fair will be on!
Saturday 21st November, 3PM – 7PM.
This year’s Fair will be Huge!!! Proudly supported by Westpac Gungahlin plus lots of other local businesses.
As well as all the favourites from last year, there will also be: An International Food Court, the RAAF Hot Air Balloon, Artillery Field Gun, Naval Display, Reptile Display, SRC Sideshow Alley, Rides including The Super-Slide, Monster Raffle, Chocolate Trailer and a Cake Stall (where I will be helping) with lots of yummy homemade cakes and treats.

I don’t know if you’re taking the mickey or not there Jim, but I’ll take it at face value. I’m surprised anyone outside of the UK has heard of them to be frank. Burke Shelley is the only original member left, Budgie has been Burke plus others since it’s inception though. A “lame to fame” of mine is that my mate Pete Boot was their drummer for a couple of albums, (notabley “In for the Kill”, which I rate their best.)

Bushrangers in Braddon! Music For Everyone presents Ned Kelly, an original
musical written specifically for children to perform to children. This show
is a thoughtful retelling for young audiences of an iconic Australian story,
with an outstanding musical score. The young performers aged 7-11 years
from Music For Everyone’s Act Up Sing Out Junior Music Theatre Program are
directed by Dianna Nixon, with assistant director Vanessa Nimmo. The
performance is 40-45 minutes long with no interval. Ideal for families, a
great end-of year activity for primary schools.
