The Electric Shadows Evolution Film Festival is on from the 6th of November through to the 13th of December. They’re going out with a bang before closing down to make way for the new Dendy cineplex.
The program is online, but as of yet only in PDF form. Some highlights:

Classics, including Dr. Strangelove, Modern Times, Seven Samurai, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and The Princess Bride.

Late-night cult movies, including Donnie Darko, The Wall, Withnail & I, and a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with prizes for best costume.

Two all-night movie marathons:

"All Night Chop Socky", with Enter the Dragon, Drunken Master 2, High Risk, Ong Bak and Rumble in the Bronx.

"A Zombie Vampire Ate My Alien", with 28 Days Later, Night Watch, Alien, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (not sure which one) and Soylent Green.

"Farewell to the Shads" party — $20 for a special screening of Pan’s Labyrinth, plus a free drink at the Toast afterparty.

"High Tea and Fond Memories" — $20 for a special screening of Strictly Ballroom and afternoon tea.
