The University of Canberra 2016 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition Final

An 80,000 word research project would take nine hours to present. Their time limit . . . three minutes!

Come along to UC and see a snapshot of the amazing research projects that are being conducted on the campus by higher degree research students. They are curing cancer, saving babies, catching criminals, helping employers keep key staff and lots more. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear all about it!

On the night, watch our finalists battle it out for the UC 3MT crown, $3500 in prize money and a ticket to the 3MT Asia-Pacific Final (an international competition, which will be held at the University of Queensland later this year). Plus, cast your vote to help pick the winner of the People’s Choice award. The audience favourite will take home a $500 cash prize.

After the competition, you will have the chance to mix and mingle with the competitors and judges over wine and canapés.

When: Tuesday 6 September 5 – 6.30pm
Where: Ann Harding Conference Centre, Building 24, University Drive South, University of Canberra, Bruce, ACT 2617
