Jessica Hathaway (Angela Punch McGregor) works in a government institution for children with disabilities. Among those in her care is 13-year-old Annie (Tina Arhondis), who has lived with cerebral palsy since birth. Advocating for Annie’s capabilities, Jessica finds herself drawn into a struggle with the establishment that eventually takes her to court.

Based on the true story of Anne McDonald, this award-winning Australian film explores disability rights and offers a moving testimony to the power of the human spirit.
