Jim Collins (Levi Miller), a young man from outback Western Australia, leaves his family-run sheep station to enlist and join the Anzac soldiers fighting on the Western Front in France.
But the reality of the muddy and relentless war soon takes its toll on Jim. As hope becomes a distant memory, the Battle of the Hindenburg Line offers Jim’s battalion a final chance at redemption.
Inspired by the real-life diaries of Anzac soldiers, Before Dawn shines a light on a lesser-known offensive from the final months of the First World War. Made by rising Australian director Jordon Prince-Wright, the film was shot on location in Western Australia and features a strong ensemble cast including Ed Oxenbould, Stephen Peacocke and Myles Pollard.
