The Canberra Railway Museum has displays of historic steam locomotives, diesel locomotive, Tin Hare rail motors, passenger cars and rail memorabilia. It is the home to 140-year-old steam locomotive 1210 which brought the first train into Canberra in 1914.

The Museum contains an array of locomotives, rail motors, passenger carriages and freight wagons along with more than 200 railway-related artefacts and memorabilia.

What: Canberra Railway Museum
When: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sundays until 31 January, and daily between Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
Where: 2 Geijera Place, Kingston
Cost: $6 for adults and $4 for concessions and children (3rd and subsequent children enter for free)
