As the technology we use at work rapidly evolves, so does our responsibility to understand cybersecurity and mitigate its risks. This month’s HR Breakfast Club will investigate how technology impacts our every work-day and the consequences of it, through the lens of digital and privacy law. What are our key ethical and risk-management obligations? What must businesses and workplaces do to ensure these obligations are met?
Our presenters are Riley Berry and Anna Phillips, hailing from Las Vegas and Boston, respectively. Riley and Anna both hold Juris Doctor degrees from the ANU and work in Commercial and Business Law, where they advise clients on corporate governance, business acquisitions and disposals, contractual drafting and disputes, intellectual property, and privacy law. Riley also practices Real Estate Law with an interest in hospitality, including matters relating to the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, commercial leasing, and residential tenancies. Likewise, Anna practices Litigation, working on matters relating to partnership disputes, building and construction claims, and trusts.
