Botanical drawing or ‘Flower painting’ was a popular genteel pastime amongst people in Victorian-era homesteads. Children will take a tour around the gardens to look at and sketch the wonderful trees and plants they see on watercolour paper and then add color to their drawings using watercolour pencils.

What: Kids at ACT Historic Places
When: Sunday 11 October 2020, 10:30 am
Where: Lanyon Homestead, Tharwa Dr, Tharwa
Cost: Tickets via Eventbrite $20/$15 (members) and adults accompanying children free of charge, all materials included.
