Lifeline Canberra’s Bookfairs raise a major portion of the funding needed to keep our local crisis support service running. Our Bookfairs are the largest gathering of book-lovers in Canberra – you will see a return very soon.
We have a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, including rare books and collectibles, children’s books, textbooks, and foreign language books. You’ll also find magazines and pamphlets, sheet music, comics, maps and atlases, talking books, records and CDs, DVDs, games, and jigsaws.
We are registered as a COVID-19 Safe event. For your safety, the event will be held on strict accordance with ACT Health regulations.
Due to restrictions associated with COVID-19, there will be limited numbers allowed at Tuggeranong Southern Cross Stadium – please be patient as we know many people in the community are eagerly awaiting the return of our Bookfair.
On Friday, 11 December, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am seniors are welcome to attend a COVID-19 safe Seniors session.
