Quilting and community is on display at the Canberra Quilters Inc. Members Exhibition, being held for 4 big days at the Former Transport Depot between 26 to 29 April, and is being held in conjunction with Craft Alive Canberra.
In addition to the over 130 quilts and other items on display as a part of the judged exhibition, Canberra Quilters is paying tribute to five long term members who have passed. Joan Porta, Patricia (Tricia) Morton, Karen Merchant, Colleen Scutt and Linda Wilson will all be honoured during the exhibition. With a variety of their work representing decades of creating being on display.
There will be a variety of craft and creating wares on sale, in addition to the exhibition and Canberra Quilter’s Sales Room, which also carries a variety of quilted items for sale.Canberra Quilters welcomes new members to join at https://canberraquilters.org.au/membership/ – join to participate in the exhibition, Sales Room, fun, laughter, workshops and retreat.
