You know that a real estate agency is great at marketing when they organise a fair, complete with glitter tattoos and an ice-cream van, to launch their new offices.

Peter Blackshaw Real Estate (PBRE) Belconnen are celebrating the opening of their new offices by holding a free family fun event on Thursday 26 April from 2 pm – 6 pm.

The fair-like launch event will include free face painting, balloon modelling, glitter tattoos with the Gecko Gang, an ice-cream van, sausage sizzle – and, most importantly, a coffee cart for the parents.

PBRE has been in Belconnen for 20 years and the offices have relocated from Belconnen Town Centre to Florey Shopping Centre.

The new directors of PBRE Belconnen are Rebecca Braddon, Michael Braddon, Esther Sebbens and Matt Sebbens.

“The launch is in line with our core values. We want to be part of the community and we are all born and bred in the Belconnen area,” Matthew Sebbens, PBRE Belconnen director said.

“We want to do something for the local community and for families. We are doing this during the school holidays to give families an option for entertaining the kids next Thursday.”

Matthew says the new directors want to ‘continue on the strong relationships that Peter Walker built whilst he was director of Peter Blackshaw Belconnen’.

While there have been advances in technology in the real estate industry, Matthew says they want to continue with old world values.

“We care for clients and their needs. We want to connect with the community and be there when we are needed,” Matthew said.

So if you want something free to do with the kids next Thursday, head to the Florey Shops for some free food and entertainment – and while you are there, meet the new team at Peter Blackshaw Real Estate Belconnen.
