Canberra Times, via the jewel in the crown of Rural Press, The Young Witness, is reporting here of a few small fire related problems in the Lake George Area, and due to some fine handy work of the good folk of Belconnen.
It is thought that a majority of these fires were deliberately lit. I certainly hope this wasn’t the case but I wouldn’t be holding my breath. Those of you, who were thinking about Thumper’s call to arms for volunteers, perhaps you might like to give the boys a call.
