One of the ACT’s active COVID-19 cases has recovered from the virus, bringing the number of cases remaining in the Territory down to four.

All four remain in hotel quarantine and arrived in the ACT on the most recent repatriation flight from Singapore on 1 March.

Three other close contacts also remain in hotel quarantine.

But Canberrans are still being told to remain cautious after COVID-19 fragments were found in an ACT sewage sample collected on 16 March from the city central wastewater testing location.

The positive samples are most likely from the known cases in quarantine, an ACT Health spokesperson said.

Further wastewater testing will be conducted next week.
