Alanna & Alicia are identical twins who blend folk, jazz and roots in their original acoustic songs. Known for their sweet sibling harmonies and natural musical rapport, their original songs sparkle with original, intimate, funny and heartfelt lyrics. Their band features the talents of Damien Neil (guitar) and Michael O’Donnell (violin).
Alanna & Alicia have won songwriting awards at national festivals and have charmed audiences in their appearances across the festival circuit from the National Folk Festival to Fairbridge WA with their onstage warmth, wit and sense of fun.
Heading to Fairlight Folk in Sydney, they will make a stop at Blues Central to sing songs from their most recent album of original material, ‘Twinlines’, as well as favourites from previous albums, ‘Two in a Book’ (2010) and ‘Funny She’s So Much Like Me’ (2006).
