Beloved three-piece band Hashemoto will expand their lineup when they appear at Smith’s Alternative this Sunday. Special guests Stephen Watson on Hammond, Nick Peddle on drums and James Fahy on electric guitar will augment the group as they perform fresh takes on their classic songs.
Gutwrench Records is gearing up to host their first festival later this week with Nervewreck taking over The Polo in Turner with a stacked lineup led by Naarm post-punks Clamm and populated with locals, including Spouse, Sonic Reducer, HYG and more.
Metalcore heavy-hitters Polaris will be in town in the coming days as well. They’ll be taking to the stage at UC Refectory on Tuesday night in support of their latest record, Fatalism.
