There were over 40 different advertisements in the Garage Sales & Events category on the allclassifieds website when I started searching for this weekend’s garage sales for this round-up.

And for the first time in three weeks, I found a garage sale happening on Sunday.

Of all the garage sales I looked at there was an overwhelming number of occurring in suburbs that begin with C, so I thought I’d focus on those for this week.

SATURDAY

2 Junee St, Crace
8am-2pm
A women’s wardrobe wonderland: clothing of all sizes, shoes sized 37 and 38, jewellery and handbags will be on sale along with some other household items. If there is anything left at 2pm on Saturday, the sale will continue on Sunday from 8am.

57 Norriss St, Chisholm
8.30am-1pm
This is the best kind of sale: a moving sale. Items include: linen, Christmas decorations, toys, backpacks, boys’ clothing (some new), winter jackets, health and beauty products (all new), arts and crafts, books, sports items, and even a dog kennel.

5 Carrawa St, Crace
8am-1pm
This is definitely a special sale with items including new and/or unused Indian and Pakistani dresses and shawls. There are also some household items and used toddler clothing.

Cambridge St, Cook
8am-4pm
This is probably one of the biggest spring cleaning garage sales we have seen. It’s so large that the sale is running over both Saturday and Sunday. Items for the kids include: Duplo, wooden trains, soft toys, playmats, sporting goods and lots of books. For the adults there are: puzzles, board games, books, wine racks, glassware, kitchenware (still boxed), garden pots, and a lawn mower. Some collector items are available.

Scaddan Pl, Curtin
9am-3pm (no early birds)
This multi-family garage sale includes fabric (from local fabric store, Addicted to Fabric), home renovation supplies, a bathroom basin, gardening tools and pots, women’s clothing, antique mirrors, CDs, books, a printer, various souvenirs and much more. If it rains, come on Sunday.

SUNDAY

28 Jane Price Cres, Conder
7am-1pm
All items are good quality and priced to go. On offer are trikes for kids and toddlers, skateboards, a high chair, a bassinet, baby clothes, baby sheets, wraps and blankets. There are even some DVDs and a stereo.

As always, check out the allclassifieds website before heading out for your weekend bargain.
