Get Real Forum and Faking It launch in Canberra November 17
We are really happy to let you know that Women’s Forum Australia (WFA) is holding a “Get Real Forum” on body image issues, the objectification of women and sexualisation of girls, to be held at the National Museum in Canberra on November 17 at 7pm for 7.30pm. We’ll have some great speakers and musicians and our magazine-style research paper “Faking It” will be launched on the night. The Melbourne event was a great success and a number of people asked us to bring it to Canberra. Well now we’re doing just that and we want the event in our national capital to be even bigger and better. So please come and show your support for creating a society that respects women and doesn’t treat them as just the sum of their body parts. Suitable for audience 15+.
For ticketing and further info please phone our events coordinator Giulia Jones (pronounced ‘Julia’ for those not familiar with the Italian!) on 0439958298 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or Sara Hodgson on 0448597114 or via e-mail: email@example.com
Thanks and look forward to seeing you there.
