The Ginninderry joint venture has released 78 single house blocks to the market in the new suburb of Mcnamara in Canberra’s northwest.
Block sizes range from 319 sqm to 597 sqm, for an average size of 456 sqm. Prices range from $440,700 to $636,090, for an average of $525,202.
The release includes three block types designed to cater to a variety of buyers and their needs.
Ginninderry says it aims to provide innovative and diverse housing options that reflect the changing shape of growing Canberra.
The blocks include ‘Villa’, ‘Courtyard’ and ‘Classic’ typologies.
Villa blocks typically provide a 12.5- to 14-m frontage, are sized between 300 and 400 sqm and are considered a ‘mid-block’ type in the single dwelling housing code.
The Courtyard type frontage is usually 15 m, with blocks sized between 400 and 450 sqm. It is also considered a ‘mid-block’ type.
Classic blocks typically provide 18-m wide frontage, with an average size of 500 sqm, and are considered to be a ‘standard block’ type.
The blocks are within walking distance of the Strathnairn Early Childhood Education Centre to Year 6 School, set to open in 2026, and Ginninderry’s first local centre, planned for 2027.
The new release is also adjacent to the future Macnamara neighbourhood park, with the existing Paddys Park and Hilltop Park also nearby in Strathnairn.

Ginninderry boasts a thriving community and events calendar, with a dedicated community manager to help new residents settle in and stay connected.
Ginninderry’s has an extensive network of footpaths, walking tracks, and cycleways.
Access to nature is a big selling point for what is billed as Canberra’s most sustainable community.
The almost 600-hectare Ginninderry Conservation Corridor provides a haven for native wildlife, protects significant cultural heritage, and offers more than 10 km of scenic walking tracks, Canberra’s first swing bridges, and public access to the banks of the Murrumbidgee River.
Eligible purchasers will receive free front landscaping, construction waste management, and a house design consultation session.
Ginninderry Development Director Stephen Harding said the new release was another exciting opportunity for homebuyers.

Sale is by ballot and registrations opened on Friday (28 February) and close on 16 March.
Draw numbers will be announced on 28 March and block sessions will be held on 5 and 6 April.
Settlement dates are from April to June 2026.
Ginninderry will eventually include 11,500 new homes and about 30,000 people over four suburbs.
