The fast-growing new suburb of Coombs in the Molonglo Valley finally has a significant piece of infrastructure with the opening of Club Lime’s 20th facility.
One of Australia’s largest privately owned health and fitness providers, Club Lime said the new facility was ideally placed in Coombs, which recently topped the Australian Bureau of Statistics list of the fastest growing suburbs in the ACT with a growth of 34.4 per cent in 2017 and was also the second fastest growing suburb in Australia.
Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Club Lime Coombs would contribute to a healthy lifestyle for residents and was already proving popular with a significant uptake in its pre-opening foundation membership sales, Club Lime said.

Club Lime’s founder and Managing Director Harry Konstantinou said the two-storey Coombs facility was centrally located at 110 Woodberry Avenue and had been designed to cater for the fast growing local market.
“It has all the essentials necessary for a great workout including a dedicated high-intensity interval training zone and classes, along with the latest top of the range equipment from Life Fitness,” he said.
“The design, layout, accessibility and affordability of Club Lime Coombs cannot be beat. Choosing this club makes it easy for members to stay committed to their fitness goals by providing everything they need.”

Club Lime Coombs has cardio, strength and free weights areas, plus free wi-fi so members can access the internet, music and podcasts while they exercise.
Club Lime’s platinum membership provided access to all facilities via Club Lime’s secure access pass, which grants members full access even when the clubs aren’t staffed. New members can access one of the 50-plus personal trainers across the group with Club Lime’s introduction offer to new members of two sessions for $20.
Club Lime was the first health club operator in Australia to offer clubs in all three segments within the health and fitness industry including 24/7 ‘express’ sized clubs, regular sized clubs, and ‘big box’ clubs. All, bar one, operate 24 hours.
Its flagship facility, The Canberra International Sports and Aquatic Centre in Belconnen, is believed to be Australia’s largest non-council owned leisure and aquatic facility by membership and size.
