Police are searching for a woman who stopped to help a man who may have been hit by a vehicle in Kambah earlier this week.

Officers received reports of a man lying unconscious in the middle of the road at the intersection of Summerland Circuit and Kingsmill Street, Kambah, at about 10:35 pm on Monday (20 November).

Before police arrived, at least one member of the public, who is believed to work at a hospital, helped the man.

Police wish to speak with this person and anyone else who may have witnessed an incident on the road or has dashcam footage of the intersection.

The injured man was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and a dark-coloured backpack.

He has been taken to hospital where he is in intensive care with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

While investigators have spoken to some witnesses, other drivers may have seen the man and may be able to assist police.

Police have also asked for dashcam footage from any vehicles that passed through the area of Livingston Avenue to the intersection of Drakeford Drive and O’Halloran Circuit between 7 pm and 11 pm. This could also assist the investigation.

Anyone who can assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, quoting reference number 7599591. Information can be provided anonymously.
