Local Libs give up on community donations

aye, I was only making a suggestion.. Didn’t look too far into it 🙂

I’m sure there’s a number of hidden little funding holes out there – big brother looking after little brother springs to mind as well

Mael – given we are talking about the local party, not likely to see farmers donating to the ACT Libs. It would be interesting however to sift through the AEC listed donors though.

Anyway, Libs never have a chance against that marvellous ‘chocolate wheel’ called the Labour Club and a few bob from the Union movement.

the ALP get large amounts of dough from unions (automatiacally, ive never been asked if im happy for my $$ to be spent that way) and locally, the labor clubs. i have no idea how the libs can compete with that steady cash flow.
