Hello all,
I will be down next week for my brother’s year 10 graduation (hooray!), and wanted to take him out to lunch to celebrate.
I have received recommendations for Satis in Watson-at the shops, but am unable to locate a phone number to make a booking.
The White and Yellow Pages, and Google have failed me.

I was hoping to confirm that this restaurant is still open, and was wondering if any one knew their number?

Maybe if you live near Watson shops, you could pop-down and ask them?

One thousand thank yous from stinky Queensland.

Jey

Not surpriesd the owner is ex Tilleys.

Same arrogant service first and last time I went there.

I’ve been to Carlo’s a few times and at first I thought it was great, but more recently, even simple things like drinks have taken ages to arrive. A bit disappointing. Haven’t been for a couple of months though.

No worries Lilli. We had an office XMas do there once, and I thought they were quite good. Very attentitive to my dietary needs.

I must admit the last time I ate there was quite some time ago.. Apologies for the mis-information Jey!

No! Let her go to Carlos’, and then come back and do an up to date review for us. I’ve never heard anything good about the place, so it should be entertaining if not enlightening.

Gotta agree with I-filed on that one.

“No worries – the shop I rang, Carlo’s, is not a bad choice for a bite to eat and a decent coffee!”

Nooooo, Lilli, don’t send someone looking for Satis to Carlo’s! Carlo’s is crap. bad attitude, bad food, too expensive in my experience… I gave Carlos three goes, but I’ll never eat there again. Oh, and they overcharged me last time.

No worries – the shop I rang, Carlo’s, is not a bad choice for a bite to eat and a decent coffee!

Thanks Lilli.
I guess if it’s packed there are a few other options at Watson shops where we can go.

You’ve got your finger on the pulse, Danman.

Corny joke

Probably something to do with the dahl tone.

Do telephones upset vegetables, or something?

Strangely enough they apparently don’t have a phone. I rang another business at Watson and they’ve obviously had to answer the question before.. They said most people just pop past and it doesn’t appear busy enough to require a booking in advance.. So Jey, I guess your options are to just turn up and hope they have a table free, or get someone in Canberra to physically visit them and make a booking!

Well they won’t be in business for very long if they don’t advertise a way of being able to contact them at all, bloody stupid vegos!

Well, that’s something.

Thanks to this thread, we are now the eighth highest search listing for “Satis” for pages in Australia.
Their customers may find us before the owners do, in which case they can raise the issue that this place is losing interstate family celebration business as they do not have a phone.

I dare say skiddy if they don’t believe in phones, they aren’t likely to stumble upon the blog.

I’ve been told the owner is a former Tilleys staffer, so Tilleys may know … 62477753

They’re advertising on primarily vegetarian-only website, cash-only, and don’t believe in phones even though they’ve been open for 8 months.

These people don’t believe in making it easy, do they?
(If in weeks or months to come they find the-RiotAct.com, “Hi guys!”)

Deano, there is no phone number on that page.
If there is, could you please point it out to me, because I can’t see it.
