UPDATED 4:20 pm: ACT Policing has confirmed that the body located adjacent to Paddy’s River Road at Paddy’s River this morning is that of missing man Alex Coppinger.
He was reported missing yesterday when he left to ride his motorbike to the west of Canberra. Police located his body after an extensive overnight and early morning search of the Tidbinbilla area.
Mr Coppinger is the ACT’s first road fatality of 2021.
ACT Policing Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
