I must admit to finding it curious that someone was able to run over a person lying on a straight stretch of road, without seeing them!

In the ACT Magistrates Court today, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) upgraded the manslaughter charge to murder. ”

Preliminary evidence suggests Mr Antoniazzo knew Ms Vega was on the road and that he sped up and did not swerve before hitting her.”
…”Today in court Mr Antoniazzo pleaded not guilty to murder. He was remanded in custody and will reappear in court next week.”
