The National Capital Authority is warning that they’re taking another go at getting the bridge built for the Kings Avenue overpass of Parkes Way this Saturday:
230 truck loads of concrete will be poured continuously over 10 hours, from 6.30am.
For public safety, an exclusion zone has been set up around the construction site. The public are advised to stay away from the site during the work.
Temporary traffic changes will apply from 6.30am to 8.00pm. Traffic will be diverted away from Parkes Way, and Morshead Drive, at the Kings Avenue overpass construction site. Traffic marshals and signage will be in place to direct road users.
So no biblical rainfall expected then.
