Are they still planning to eventually extend Marcus Clarke?

So if this diagram is accurate, the roadworks speed limits extend hundreds of metres around where the work will actually be happening. As soon as you turn off London Circuit onto Edinburgh Avenue, you’re in a 40 zone. Before you’ve left the tunnel on Parkes way, the off-ramp is a 40 zone. Despite the fact that you’re not actually anywhere close to where the work will be happening. And people wonder why drivers don’t obey roadworks speed limits…

I’d be interested to know where exactly the new traffic lights will be installed too. They’re not shown on the map.

So there’s going to be more traffic through that intersection, once the Nishi Bldg is complete, but they’re taking a lane away.

I guess that makes sense to someone.
