Pair steal ATM from petrol station: police

Two men stole an ATM from a Fyshwick petrol station by attaching it to a ute with a strap early this morning according to ACT Policing.

Police are seeking witnesses to the aggravated burglary which took place at about 1.15am.

Two men in a stolen white Ford Ranger ute bearing NSW registration plates BJ54PE entered the Metro Service Station on Barrier Street in Fyshwick, removed the ATM using a strap attached to the vehicle and then proceeded to drag the ATM down Barrier Street.

The first offender is described as having a thin build, wearing a black long sleeved Adidas hooded jumper, black track suit pants and black shoes with gloves and a white material over his face.

The second offender is described as having a thin build, wearing a dark grey long sleeved hooded jumper, camouflage pants and fluorescent yellow sneakers with grey gloves and white material over his face.
