A medical professional who recently returned from West Africa has been admitted to Canberra Hospital’s isolation ward as a precautionary measure, ACT Health has confirmed.
Following the development of symptoms this afternoon, the person will be medically assessed, including undergoing testing for the Ebola virus. The person did not treat any cases of Ebola.
