Yep. Another person who can’t figure out that capitalisation doesn’t go in front of every word.
If you think that cheating is fun and encourages competition, you probably typed your reply on your iphone during a trivia competition..

I went to one, run by a pro trivia night company, where every question was multiple choice and all tables had a remote control with 5 buttons on it. Question asked, you had to push the right button (to match the answer) within 10 seconds or so, otherwise you got nothing. Scoring all automated, answer pops up immediately following the question.

OK, so multiple choice isnt as much fun as a normal quiz, but it was very well done, the questions were harder than you might think and – no time to use your phone.

Having run trivia nights, usually phones are only useful for table questions – there isnt enough time during normal rounds. And you can spot who has used the phone cos they get too many answers right.

Trivia nights used to be awesome, then phones with internet access ruined everything.
All Trivia nights should be lock in sessions held in Faraday cages, with mobile diverts placed to a table phone.
