ACT Policing is calling for the public to help identify two suspects who allegedly threatened a resident in Pearce last Friday morning (1 November).

Between 4:50 and 5:10 am, a dark-coloured SUV with at least two people on board was observed driving around Pearce, and engaging in what police described as “suspicious activity”.

“The car drove through Hodgson Crescent and Brinsmead Street, before stopping for a short time outside a Brinsmead Street residence, where one of the passengers got out and threatened a resident, before leaving the area heading north at speed,” an ACT Policing spokesperson said.

Police believe there were pedestrians walking in the area and are urging them, and anyone with possible dashcam footage of CCTV in the area, to come forward and help with the investigation.

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers in 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website, and quote the reference 6456240.

Information can be provided anonymously.
