Police calling for public help in identifying armed robbers of Raiders Belconnen Club

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two offenders who committed an armed robbery of the Raiders Belconnen Club in Holt two weeks ago.

Police say one offender was carrying a weapon when they broke into the Raiders Club around 2.30 am on Monday, August 21.

The offenders stole sums of cash from various parts of the club before leaving and then fleeing the area.

Both offenders are described as being between 178 centimetres (5’10”) and 183 centimetres (6’) tall, with a thin or athletic build. They were both wearing dark clothing, gloves and had balaclavas covering their faces.

Anyone who has information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously but please quote reference 6142504.
