Police are searching for a man who absconded from custody at the Canberra Hospital about 3pm on Wednesday 16 August.
ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate 31-year-old Aaron Jones, who was in custody for breaching a court ordered condition.
He appeared before court on Thursday 10 August and was later transferred to the custody of ACT Health officials at the Canberra Hospital.
Police described Jones as being about 165cm (5’5”) tall, of solid build, with brown eyes, and a shaved head. He has a tattoo behind his left ear and the words ‘show no remorse’ tattooed on his right arm.
Police said members of the public should not approach Jones. If anyone sighted someone matching Jones’s description or had any information about his whereabouts, they should contact ACT Policing on 131 44.
