#PutOutYourBlankets Canberra!

I’ve organised an event for people to bring their spare blankets to the charity bins at regional shopping centres next Thursday, 13 August 2015 between 7am and 9pm.

I’ve created a Facebook page for the event.

I have approached one logistics company here in town about picking up the blankets and then dropping them at local Vinnies and Salvos centres. I think this aspect of the event need to be coordinated by one organsation or company so if you can assist or know someone else who can help, please let me know via the Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/pages/Putoutyourblankets-Canberra/1499343153691486

Just to be completely transparent, there is absolutely no financial benefit to me with this event.
