The Canberra Raiders have announced they’re going to step into the room of mirrors and have a long hard think about what went wrong this year.

The High Performance Review will be conducted by John Waser, who has over 30 years’ experience working with elite sport specialising in career, education and sport.

Mr Waser said he would be joined by current Queensland Assistant Coach Michael Hagan, who will be in charge of reviewing the tactical side of the team’s preparation and performance.

“I’ll be working with Michael Hagan and we’ll develop a group of recommendations which will be presented to the board and they will then decide what to do from there,” Mr Waser said. “It’s great to work with Michael Hagan who has a lot of experience with not only the NRL but also with representative teams.”

The High Performance Review will also be giving members an opportunity to have their say on the season as well, with a survey to be sent to the clubs membership database in the coming weeks.

The final results will be compiled over the course of the Raiders off-season and presented to the Raiders board ahead of the 2012 pre-season.

Here at RiotACT we’re eagerly awaiting this year’s Mad Monday celebrations.

That’s all very well but they could have gone down to the park and got a much better coach for all the good this one has done (look at his record) and while their at it remove his brother and the dingbats that refuses to sack him.
