Has anyone else noticed that Rego.ACT has been down since Saturday with the following message:

Word from a former colleague who works at a Canberra Connect shopfront has told me that it is a ‘SAN server issue at InTACT and that they have no idea when it will be restored’. Apparently no rego’s can be done, or licenses for anything etc.
I would’ve thought the ‘SAN’ would’ve been backed up and redundant?
perhaps chiefly shouldn’t have been bragging about being hack-free, I mean isn’t that just saying to hackers ‘I know you couldn’t be bothered before but now that we thing we’re invincible you might as well have a crack’.

You might be on the ball to something though, I wonder if the RAPID system has been affected in the last week?

More than likely, my tongue is firmly planted in my cheek as Rego.act looks after traffic infringments, after the fact though.
Maybe they’re finally adding the option of Euro style number plates to ACT motorists!

Traffic cameras are run by a private company, contracted to govco arent they?
Lucky I paid my rego on Friday.
The RegoACT website offers so little in terms of functionality I’m surprised anyone would notice if it disappeared permanently.
It’s been down since the weekend for everyone. Very frustrating! Especially for those who use it more than others.
I wonder if that means tha traffic cameras are offline …. 🙂
behaving very strangely for me
Noticed it this morning but it seems to be back online now.
