Have you ever thought about increasing your wellbeing? Or, wondered what impact natural therapies could have on anything that might be concerning you health wise?

Deciphering the variety of therapies and interventions for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and wellbeing in a bid to find what is right for you can be like wading through mud. That’s where a wellness consultant comes in very handy.

We are lucky enough to have Tubi Oysten, wellness consultant at ‘World of Wellbeing’ in Phillip, to answer your health and wellbeing questions.

Send any questions you may have to wellness@the-riotact.com and Tubi will select a handful to respond to each fortnight in a regular post (we won’t identify you in the posts to ensure confidentiality).

I will hand over to Tubi to introduce what she does as a wellness consultant –

The role of a wellness consultant can be varied. More than coaching, a wellness consultant facilitates learning, exploration and growth for clients in an integrated and supportive manner. Clients may require coaching in lifestyle changes, formulation of health goals, assistance integrating health care choices, gain understanding with appropriate complementary therapies or develop broader life goals. All interactions from a wellness perspective are based on individual client needs.

There is abundant scientific evidence highlighting the benefits of individual, societal and global benefits of positive wellbeing and lifestyle choices, and in the role of wellness as an integral primary healthcare tool that empowers people to work towards their optimal self.

Bringing a wealth of experience from both conventional and complementary health paradigms, my passion is to empower people in their journey toward wellness by cooperatively increasing their awareness and knowledge so they can make personalised informed choices to improve their levels of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and wellbeing.

Tubi is a wellness consultant for World of Wellbeing in Phillip ACT. She also acts as wellness consultant to Oncology Massage Limited. She has worked as an emergency room nurse and an oncology massage and Bowen therapist. On the verge of completing a graduate diploma of Wellness, Tubi is excited at having the opportunity to share her passion with the readers of The RiotACT.
