Hey RiotACT Community!
As heralded in my recent post, I am excited to announce that our developers have completed Facebook, Twitter, and Google login to RiotACT and that the new policies in relation to RiotACT editorial direction, contribution, sponsored content, and moderation are now in effect.
Facebook, Twitter and Google RiotACT login
Social sign-on makes it frictionless for users to create an account and login with RiotACT so that they can easily start commenting and contributing if you have an existing Facebook, Twitter, or Google account. The new “one click” login also saves you from having to remember separate username and password for RiotACT.
Our hope is that this new functionality will result in a large number of new and existing readers joining in the discussion.
Additionally, existing users can associate their social accounts with an existing RiotACT account. If you are already registered, simply click log out, then visit the login screen and click your relevant social network. You will then have the option to associate with an existing account or create a new account. Simply enter your login details of your existing account one last time and from then on you will be able to sign on with one click.
New policies in effect
In the new draft policies, we originally intended on imposing a minimum comment length, but following feedback from the community, we dropped the minimum length from the new policy. You can review the current policies on the Terms and Conditions page.
We will, of course, update these from time to time as the community evolves and we receive feedback in the future.
Thank you for your participation.
RiotACT onwards and upwards!
