Arguably the city’s most raucous band, NORA, will celebrate the release of its latest single, ‘Pretend’ (feat. Viktor Rufus), with a hometown show at The Polo on Saturday night. Support will come from locals Box Dye, Sydneysiders 51st Avenue, and Newcastle’s Lamphead.
Belconnen Arts Centre will play host to two cutting-edge musicians on Friday night as part of You Are Here’s Cahoots Lab. Producer Ashleigh Hazel will explore how performance spaces prime audiences for certain kinds of experiences in ‘Knots (working title)’ before the Canberra premiere of ‘depth disintegration’, a collaboration between composer Sia Ahmad and trombonist Ben Anderson.
Elsewhere, pop trio Telenova will be heading to Transit Bar on Thursday, and ABBA fans can relive the glory days when Björn Again hit the Canberra Theatre stage for two shows on Saturday.
